Behind the Project: What the pictures don’t tell…

For some reason, I could not stop using the navy blue and gray!  It goes so well together!!  This was by far my most favorite card set to create!!

Hmmm…went a little crazy with the snowflakes and embossing powder on this one!  Just like peanut butter and jelly, these two things just seem to go together in my mind!!

LOVE the Sizzix snowflake card thinlit die paired with the Stampin’ Up! Festive Flurry stamp set.  Add a touch of embossing powder (of course!) and this sweet card is ready to give!

Don’t be scared!  This one may look difficult, but it really is not…HONEST!  All you need is 4-5 1″ circles in 5 coordinating colors and then go to town using any embossing folders you may have on hand!  It has become one of my very favorite cards!

I don’t even know where to begin when describing the behind the scenes story with this one.  Just imagine hours passing, trying every tool in the craft room to make this work and look right on a card…ahhh!

It is definitely easier to see the embossed detail on this card here in this picture than it is even in “real-life.”  Another simple card design, but sometimes understated cards have a big impact!

It may look intricate, but it’s really not!  Snowflake stamps, white and silver embossing powder, and a touch of navy make this card perfect for any winter occasion.
